C2 Downloads

Creatures 2 is probably my least favorite of the Creatures series. It's beautiful and atmospheric, but the creatures are as dumb as (if not dumber than) rocks (improved genomes aside) and it's also a bit buggy. As a result, I rarely develop for (or even play) C2 nowadays. I wouldn't expect much to be added to this page in the future.

That said, I do have some old C2 breeds available. Most of them were formerly on Creatures @ CU7, but since that website went down you can now find them below.

Unreleased Breeds
A pack of breeds that, for whatever reason, I did not feel the urge to release when I finished them. Most of them are pretty old and unpolished, but I imagine there are some people who will have some fun with them regardless.
Note that this pack is actually a mix of C2 and C3/DS breeds (though there is more C3/DS stuff than C2 stuff in it) - it's mentioned on both pages.

COBs

Flying Creatures
An upgraded version of previous C2 flying COBs. This one is most similar to the ones the Angel Norns use (right down to using the same chemical - don't use the two COBs in the same world unless you want errors). However, this one brings along some extra scripts that allow flying creatures to control their vertical velocity a bit better, sharply cutting down (if not outright eliminating) the chance of your flying creatures getting grounded.
